Taipei International Book Exhibition

The Taipei International Book Exhibition is the annual meeting point for Asian publishers and one of the most diversified international book fairs in Asia.

The Taipei International Book Exhibition is sponsored by the Taiwan Ministry of Culture and organised by the Taipei Book Fair Foundation.  In 2018, the Fair attracted 300 domestic publishing houses and more than 200 international exhibitors and professionals from 60 countries, including Japan, Korea, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, France, Germany the UK and USA.

Titles published in Chinese cannot normally be used across the Taiwan/mainland China markets, because Taiwan uses traditional (or complex) characters (as does Hong Kong), whereas mainland China uses simplified characters.  UK publishers need to be aware of these differences when doing business in these markets.

Following our participation in 2018, the Publishers Association (PA) is planning to organise a UK Pavilion at TIBE 2019.

Stand Package

The Publishers Association (PA) is organising a UK Pavilion at TIBE 2019. The exhibition package includes a fully furnished custom-built stand, providing each company with the following:

  •  A dedicated meeting area with 1 desk and 3 chairs
  •  Company name
  •  5 x 1-metre shelves. Additional Perspex book stands are also available
  • 1 lockable cupboard
  •  A catalogue entry
  • Exhibitor passes
  •  Services of a stand manager
  • Consolidated shipping rates (additional cost)

There are no TAP grants available for this event, so please note that that we can only proceed with the pavilion if 8 companies take part.
