Frankfurt Book Fair 2021

The motto of this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair is “Re:connect”.  

The organisers are confident that the in-person fair will go ahead this year, albeit on a smaller scale, due to travel restrictions in some countries.

Thanks to funding from the German government’s NEUSTART KULTUR programme, the fair has been able to reduce the cost of the stands especially for smaller companies. In addition, there will be no cancellation fees if the fair organisers have to cancel the book fair, or if you must cancel your plans to attend at short notice due to circumstances relating to the pandemic.

This year’s Guest of Honour will be Canada and they will have an English-language and Francophone stand as well as an extensive programme of events during the fair.

A virtual event will also take place for those who cannot or do not want to attend in person.
