Publishers advertise job opportunities and internships in many different ways and places. As well as traditional national newspapers and their websites, social networks such as twitter and linked in are becoming popular for job opportunities. Vacancies and internships can be found on publishers’ own websites and also via the trade press (The Bookseller, Bookbrunch). Many recruitment agencies also specialise in publishing jobs.
Creative Access provides opportunities for paid internships in the creative industries for talented young people from under-represented black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, with a view to improving their chances of securing full-time jobs and, in the longer term, increasing diversity and addressing the current imbalance in the sector.
