Baroness Rebuck to receive The London Book Fair Lifetime Achievement Award 2016

Commenting on the announcement that Baroness Rebuck is to receive this year’s London Book Fair Lifetime Achievement Award, PA Chief Executive, Stephen Lotinga, said:    

“I am delighted to see Gail Rebuck’s lifetime commitment to the book and publishing industry recognised in this way.  She has been, and I am pleased to say remains, a formidable champion of reading for pleasure and the need to address illiteracy in all aspects of society, as well as being an important advocate for other issues facing the industry, such as the need to build a more diverse workforce.  From her time on PA Council, we are incredibly proud to be able to call her a friend and colleague.”
